Went to visit friends in Westport, Connecticut this past weekend. Our adventures included a stop at Terrain. A former Cadillac dealership originally built in the 1940′s converted into a sleek 16,000 square foot home and garden shopping experience at 561 Post Road East.

Local artisans supply home goods, finely crafted furniture, bed and bath, baking products, jewelry and accessories. Store Manager Lauren Aber from The Hour Online “We’re big on farm fresh and having really unique, one-of-a-kind items for sale. You can’t find these items at any other store.”

While you shop you can enjoy an organic meal at the indoor restaurant. Next to the main building is the nursery featuring sun annuals, an assortment of trees and Japanese maples.

The store also features exclusive collections including terrariums by Vermont based artist Simon Pearce. Terrain is owned by Philadelphia based Urban Outfitters.
